CASPLAST™ RW 3GKW Flex is designed for low-voltage power and control applications up to 1 kV. It is widely used in trains, trams, buses, industrial vehicles, and fixed or semi-mobile industrial installations where high safety and mechanical robustness are required.
In enclosed environments such as rail vehicles and buses, halogen-free cables significantly reduce toxic and corrosive gas emissions in the event of a fire. CASPLAST™ RW 3GKW Flex meets multiple halogen-free, low-smoke, and low-corrosivity standards, enhancing passenger and equipment safety.
The cable features fine-stranded tinned copper conductors (Class 5) and electron-beam cross-linked polyolefin insulation, providing excellent cut-through resistance and abrasion resistance. This ensures long service life in installations subject to vibration, movement, or mechanical impact.
Yes. The cable offers very good resistance to acids, bases, mineral oils, and fuels. It is also tested according to IEC 60811-404 for oil resistance, making it suitable for demanding industrial and transportation environments.
CASPLAST™ RW 3GKW Flex complies with IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24 for flame retardancy, IEC 60754-1 / 60754-2 for low corrosivity of gases, IEC 61034-1+2 for low smoke density, and IEC 50267-1 for halogen-free performance.
