PEEK insulation offers exceptional thermal, mechanical, and chemical performance far beyond conventional polymers. CASPEEK™ 260 is designed for applications where extreme temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and long-term reliability are critical and where standard insulation materials cannot perform reliably.
CASPEEK™ 260 supports continuous operation from -60°C to +260°C, with short-term exposure up to 300°C. This makes it suitable for applications involving extreme heat, thermal cycling, or confined spaces with limited cooling.
The thin-wall, high-performance PEEK insulation allows tighter winding density, enabling solenoids to achieve higher magnetic field strength within limited space. At the same time, the insulation maintains electrical and mechanical stability under high thermal and mechanical stress.
The PEEK insulation provides excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals, humidity, and UV exposure. This ensures long-term reliability in demanding industrial, aerospace, and high-performance electromechanical environments.
CASPEEK™ 260 uses copper conductors, with custom alloys and plating options available upon request. It operates at up to 600 V with a 1500 V test voltage and is halogen-free according to IEC 60754-2 / EN 60754-2.
