Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

CASUSTAN™ EV FHLR2GCB2G combines silicone rubber insulation and sheath with dual shielding (aluminum tape and tinned copper braid). This construction delivers exceptional thermal resistance up to +180°C, excellent flexibility, and superior EMC performance, making it suitable for the most demanding EV powertrain applications.

Dual shielding enhances electromagnetic compatibility by reducing both radiated and conducted interference. The aluminum tape provides full electrostatic coverage, while the copper braid ensures effective grounding and low transfer impedance, supporting stable and reliable operation of high-voltage power systems in hybrid and electric vehicles.

This cable is designed for high-voltage powertrain connections, including battery systems, inverters, electric motors, power distribution units, and other critical areas where high current capacity, EMC control, and high-temperature resistance are essential.

Silicone rubber maintains flexibility and mechanical integrity across a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +180°C. This allows easier routing in confined spaces, improved resistance to thermal shock, and stable electrical performance over the vehicle’s service life.

CASUSTAN™ EV FHLR2GCB2G is manufactured according to ISO 6722-1 and LV216-2, meeting stringent automotive requirements for high-voltage cables. It is also halogen-free in accordance with IEC 60754-2 / EN 60754-2, supporting enhanced safety in enclosed vehicle environments.
