Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

CASUSTAN™ EVP 180 uses silicone rubber for both insulation and sheath, allowing continuous operation from -40°C up to +180°C. This construction ensures stable electrical and mechanical performance in high-temperature zones of EV power systems.

The cable features an aluminum tape electrical screen combined with a tin-plated copper braid. This dual-layer shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and supports reliable EMC performance in high-voltage automotive applications.

CASUSTAN™ EVP 180 is well suited for battery-to-inverter connections, power distribution units, onboard chargers, and other high-voltage areas exposed to elevated temperatures and electromagnetic interference.

The cable is available with flexible or extra-flexible bare or tin-plated copper conductors. Standard cross sections range from 0.5 mm² to 70 mm², with customized constructions available upon request to meet specific system requirements.

Yes. CASUSTAN™ EVP 180 is manufactured in accordance with ISO 6722-1 (Class E) and is halogen-free according to IEC 60754-2 / EN 60754-2, supporting enhanced safety in enclosed vehicle environments.
