Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
CASPLAST™ CAN-Bus 150 is designed to support high-speed CAN communication according to SAE J1939/11. It is suitable for heavy-duty vehicles, industrial automation, and agricultural equipment where reliable data transmission under harsh conditions is required.
The twisted pair construction, combined with aluminium/mylar shielding and a dedicated drain wire, provides effective EMI protection. This helps maintain stable communication and reduces signal interference in electrically noisy environments.
CAN-Bus systems require precise impedance matching to prevent signal reflection and communication errors. CASPLAST™ CAN-Bus 150 maintains a controlled impedance of 120Ω ±10%, ensuring compliance with SAE J1939/11 and reliable network performance.
Yes. The cable offers excellent resistance to abrasion, cut-through, oils, fuels, acids, and bases. It operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -55°C to +150°C, making it suitable for demanding heavy-duty and industrial environments.
The cable is available as twisted pairs in 0.5 mm², 0.8 mm², 18 AWG, and 20 AWG. Custom constructions and options are available upon request to meet specific system or installation requirements.
