Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Multicore high-voltage cables allow multiple conductors to be integrated into a single cable, reducing wiring complexity, installation time, and overall system weight. CASUSTAN™ EV MC FHLR2GCB2G supports 2 to 5 conductors, making it ideal for compact and highly integrated EV powertrain designs.
In multicore high-voltage systems, electromagnetic interference can be more challenging due to conductor proximity. The combination of aluminum/PET tape and a tin-plated copper braid provides effective electrostatic and electromagnetic shielding, ensuring stable operation and improved EMC performance.
Silicone rubber offers excellent thermal stability, flexibility, and resistance to thermal shock across a wide temperature range up to +180°C. This ensures reliable electrical and mechanical performance even in high-temperature zones of EV powertrains and simplifies installation in confined spaces.
This cable is designed for high-voltage multicore applications such as integrated powertrain modules, inverter–motor connections, compact battery systems, and other areas where space optimization, thermal resistance, and EMC control are critical.
CASUSTAN™ EV MC FHLR2GCB2G complies with ISO 19642-9, ISO 19642-5, and ISO 6722-1. It is also halogen-free according to IEC 60754-2 / EN 60754-2, supporting enhanced safety and reduced toxic emissions in automotive environments.
