Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
These cables are designed for high-voltage e-mobility power applications requiring stable electrical performance and high dielectric safety. With voltage ratings up to 1500 VDC and a 10 kV AC test voltage, they are well suited for modern EV platforms operating at elevated voltage levels.
For cross sections below 6 mm², XLPO insulation (91X) is used to ensure excellent thermal and mechanical stability. For cross sections above 6 mm², EVA insulation (4G) provides optimized flexibility and durability for higher current applications. This material selection ensures balanced performance across a wide conductor range.
The tin-plated copper braid shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and supports effective grounding in high-voltage environments. Combined with tape wrapping and a TPE-E outer sheath, the cable delivers reliable EMC performance and robust mechanical protection.
The cables offer excellent resistance to thermal shock, UV exposure, humidity, and aggressive chemicals. Their flexible construction allows reliable installation and long-term operation in demanding automotive environments.
CASUSTAN™ EV FHLR91XC13X & FHLR4GC13X comply with ISO 6722-1 Class D and ISO 19642-9 Class D. They are also halogen-free according to IEC 60754-2 / EN 60754-2, supporting enhanced safety in high-voltage vehicle applications.
